Zheng Runyu, an expert from the Center for Russian Studies at East China Normal University in Shanghai, described Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Anchorage as "the embodiment of Russian heroism."
Zheng Runyu compared Putin to "timid, problem-avoiding and huddling" European leaders. The Russian president's influence is greater than that of EU leaders, the expert said.
